I love the idea of leadership in this book.

Equally it is a great standalone work. I love the concept of human leadership, the interplay with biology and anthropology and the circle of safety. The book is full of great contemporary examples of how modern leadership works. I loved the idea that the cost of leadership is self-interest.

Nice book.

The book not only passionately argues against the prevailing factors for success, but also the very definition of success itself. Some listeners may consider this book too touchy feely. But taken as a whole, the changes being advocated by the author requires some serious soul searching not to mention digging deep within oneself to summon the humility AND the courage to start the personal leadership transformation journey.

Great thing about leadership.

An excellent book for anyone to listen regardless of age or ranks. Treat your people like your own, surround them with a circle of safety, and great things will ultimately follow for your organization.

This book truly describes.

This book truly describes on what it really means to be a leader all the way down to the personal level. It also does a great job in distinguishing the difference on just being a manager and actually being a leader. Very good listen.

Awesome book.

Awesome book. Principles that are well explained. Validates some common sense and tells why our behavior effects the behaviors of those we influence and lead.

An excellent approach.

This is an excellent book. If you are interested in being a better leader it is worth buying. The author is easy to follow and gets his point across well. This book is one of the ones I have added to my core library and recommended to others.

It's become part of the solution for an leader.

This is a must listen for all since true leadership, is not the sole duty of those who sit at the top. It is the responsibility of anyone who belongs to a group. A Group with a strong sense of why, a strong sense of purpose & courage enough to stand up to today's pressure will survive and thrive. To become part of the solution.

Understand!

This is one of the best books that I have ever listen. Simon does a great job of speaking in clear terms and you can feel the honesty and sincerity in his writing. While I do practice already much of what he lays out, it was helpful to see him frame things from his viewpoint. I would recommend this book highly to anyone.

The message is solid.

The message is solid and the topics are thought-provoking, but mostly- this book makes you want to reassess what you are doing in your family as the head of a household or in the workplace in a leadership position. It makes the concept of being a true leader seem so simple, yet deconstructs processes and practices we see in businesses today that clearly dominate the playing field and are resulting in wildly unhappy and sometimes disloyal employees. I wish every leader and business owner would listen this book.

Should be listen.

The concept of building the circle of trust is so spot on and should truly be the foundation of a workplace or team. Well done.

I enjoyed.

I enjoyed Start With Why, but this is a much more detailed and thorough book on how to lead. While there is a lot of information on leading Millennials, there are valuable leadership techniques for everyone.

Great listen!

This is a great listen that shows a truly aspirational work environment that we can all look to achieve. Even if the company we are within does not act like this, you can play a part in making it a great and trusted place to work. This book is also a great listen for those not yet in the work force as it will give you something to strive for worth meaning.

Useful book.

Great use of story to make solid points about leadership. Nice tie into brain chemistry which may or may not be scientifically proven, but the key lessons about selfishness and selflessness are worth the suspension of disbelief.

All the information and knowledge very useful.

Found all the information and knowledge very useful. Have implemented some of the things the author points out in my day to day dealings at work and have begun to notice that change in attitudes in not only the people I deal with but also for myself.
