Factfulness: The stress-reducing habit of carrying only opinions for which you have strong supporting facts. When asked simple questions about global trends - what percentage of the world's population live in poverty; why the world's population is increasing; how many girls finish school - we systematically get the answers wrong. Story
It was facts that helped him explain how the world works. But it was curiosity and commitment that made the late Hans Rosling, author of the best-selling book Factfulness with Ola Rosling and Anna Rosling Rönnlund, the most popular researcher of our time. How I Learned to Understand the World is Hans Rosling’s own story of how he became a revolutionary thinker, and takes us from the swelter of an emergency clinic in Mozambique, to the World Economic Forum at Davos.

Story
We have intrigued the topics of narcissism for decades, and social scientists now agree that the topic has become a new epidemic. The term narcissism started about 2000 years ago when Ovid wrote the Myth of the Narcissus, which tells the story of Narcissus, a beautiful Greek hunter who one day looks and loves his reflection in a water pool. He has his own appearance obsessed and can not leave his reflection until he dies. The concept of narcissism was first suggested by the famous psychoanalyst.

It may be the central irony of our technologically advanced, connected digital age that many people report not feeling sufficiently connected, in the traditional sense, with other people. Why would you even want to leave the house? Tinder finds you a perfect romantic match. Skype connects you with your friends around the globe. And Instagram shares your friends' vacation experiences. The value of solid relationships can’t be overestimated. Strong relationships mean meaning, community, and influence.

Many people as they get older find it difficult to have healthy relationships whether social or marital, this problem stems from the fact that they never learned how to communicate properly. In fact many adults still communicate behaviorally in the same way children do. Meaning that while their vocabulary has developed their overall attitudes and behaviors have not.

They provide practical steps through which we can overcome the hold of such inclinations. I learn here that to combat the straight line instinct is to continually remind myself that curves comes in variants, and that, at the end of the day, most of our issues cannot be adequately represented by a straight line.

Great Listen.
The world is improving and is much better than what most people think. Following the idea about our successful situation, the author presents a popular cognitive psychology about our inappropriate "instincts" that are responsible for this failure to perceive the right situation and suggests some common-sense rules how to overcome these "instincts".

Marvellously atmospheric tale of strangers summoned to a grand but neglected villa on the Italian coast. Each of them has been named in a will, but nobody knows their benefactress.... Story
One sunny August afternoon, the residents of Cedar Close throw their annual summer barbecue. Children play in the cherry-tree lined street, tables are laden with food, and the wine is flowing. For Laurie Mills, it’s her first time meeting the neighbours. And it’s the first time she discovers her husband, Robert, is having an affair. Cedar Close has always been a nice place to live - a quiet suburban street where everyone looks out for one another and bad things don’t happen. Until late one evening, when Robert Mills is found dead in his bedroom.

Story
Marvellously atmospheric tale of strangers summoned to a grand but neglected villa on the Italian coast. Each of them has been named in a will, but nobody knows their benefactress.... Four very different people are named in a will. Delia, an opera singer robbed of her voice by illness; George, an idealistic scientist who cannot face what his skills have created; Marjorie, desperately poor and unable to dislodge her writer’s block; and Lucius, ostensibly in control but whose personal life is in chaos.

Story
One of Jane Austen’s most beloved works, Pride and Prejudice, is vividly brought to life by Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike ( Gone Girl). In her bright and energetic performance of this British classic, she expertly captures Austen’s signature wit and tone. Her attention to detail, her literary background, and her performance in the 2005 feature film version of the novel provide the perfect foundation from which to convey the story of Elizabeth Bennet, her four sisters, and the inimitable Mr. Darcy.
