middle to high school equivalent information

overall the subject matter of this book with entertaining, but at a very low level of understanding. I personally do not feel that I learned anything beyond what I already knew from high school and middle school science. unless you're looking for an introduction I would suggest one of the more advanced books by Tyson.

Must be Listen!!!

I was intrigued enough to listen it. My mind doesn't work well when it comes to science and surely not astrophysics!

One of the best.

True to it's title, this is a quick to read and easy to understand, yet not oversimplified tour of the universe and history of the world of astrophysics.

Great summarizing.

Tyson possesses great talents, both as writer and astrophysicist, and both are on good display in this book. It is an amazingly easy read about incredibly complex phenomena. And, while summarizing much of what we have learned about the universe, it humbly and forthrightly assesses how little we still know.

Best Book.

This is a great book. It is riddled the Tyson's fantastic wordplay and persona. You will be sold by the first chapter. It really is a great book for those who are interested in the astrophysics, but short on time.

Good.

This book is made out to be an "astrophysics for dummies" but it's far more difficult to grasp than I'd imagined. That being said, I'm still glad I listen it.

Excellent..!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed Tyson's tour through cosmology. I have listen several books over the past few years on the physics of the universe and Tyson's book is a lovely "condensed version" of my previous listening. Tyson has a straightforward, folksy writing style that entertains as it informs.

Absolutely amazing book!

Absolutely amazing book! I recommend that everyone listen this book. It is a very simple primer on astrophysics. It does not get into a lot of detail, insane math, Etc, and it's something that can easily be listen by a novice.
