Publisher's Summary

We think we have seen the worst of this world: the violation of human rights, terrorism and killings here and there. Sadly, it is going to get worse because the future is not “bright”. We also think we (humans) rule the world and nothing can ever change that, but if we do nothing, the environment and technology will unseat us. Also, we are so engrossed in other seemingly important things except the things that can save us.

Really bad

Full of mispronounced words, incoherent streams of thought... just get the full length book. This one wasn’t worth the time savings.

Terrible Narrator

Could they not find a more articulate narrator? I thoroughly enjoy Harari but this narrator is difficult to listen to. He sounds like he is in a rap battle, does not match with the scholarly writing.

Challenging .... but worth it

Am challenged by the questions i had to come across while going through this book and opened my eyes to some of life concept that seems to be like deceit to self. it a well recorded audio book and has all it takes to keep you or anyone glue to your headphone for an hour-21 minutes

An OK summary but horrible narration

Useful reminder, when you have already read the full book. However, the writing is definitely not as good as the original and the narrator is terrible. He eats half the words, makes many pronunciation errors and generally makes the book an unpleasant experience. Luckily it is only about an hour long.
