Publisher's Summary

Please note: This is a summary, analysis, and review of the book and not the original book. This audiobook is meant as a great companion to the original book or to simply get the gist of the original book.

A summary from better.me, initiated to provide knowledge for people who crave development.

"Intolerance of others’ views (no matter how ignorant or incoherent they may be) is not simply wrong; in a world where there is no right or wrong, it is worse: it is a sign you are embarrassingly unsophisticated or, possibly, dangerous." (Jordan B. Peterson, 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos)

What does the nervous system of the lowly lobster have to tell us about standing up straight (with our shoulders back) and about success in life? Why did ancient Egyptians worship the capacity to pay careful attention as the highest of gods? What dreadful paths do people tread when they become resentful, arrogant, and vengeful? Dr. Peterson journeys broadly, discussing discipline, freedom, adventure, and responsibility, distilling the world's wisdom into 12 practical and profound rules for life. 12 Rules for Life shatters the modern commonplaces of science, faith, and human nature, while transforming and ennobling the mind and spirit of its listeners.

Ehhhhh.....

Pretty much the same info I've read or heard many times before. Not a bad book, but didn't learn anything new. Not sure what I thought about what he had to say about hell and females.
