Publisher's Summary

Disclaimer: This is a summary of the book and not the original book.

An unpunished brutal murder took place to cover a huge conspiracy; Bill Browder will embark on a quest for justice in honor to his late friend.

Sergei Magnitsky was a young lawyer who went in too deep when he discovered a conspiracy to steal $230 million paid to the state by one of the most successful hedge funds. Unfortunately, the Russian authorities involved knew he was going to be a hindrance. Without leaving any trial or room for investigation, Sergei was murdered. The Russian felons thought that was the end of the story, but Bill Browder, the hedge fund manager who employed Magnitsky, wouldn’t let it slide, and his drive to do whatever is necessary to uncover the truth will be the starting point of an intense quest for justice.

Red Notice is a crude representation of a harsh political reality. With an incredible narrative to give life to this true story, it’ll be a miracle if you are able to stop listening before you finish. What will happen to Bill Browder? Will he be able to fulfill his objective? How will the Russian authorities react?

"The less people know about how sausages and laws are made, the better they sleep at night." (Bill Browder)

Fighting Russia

Terrible narration, better narrator would have made story more interesting, too bad. The story itself is very interesting, shoeing great determination and perseverance of an individual who stood up for what he believed, overcoming tremendous obstacles from the other side of the world.

Always liked the stories of the new Russia

I remember investors relating stories on how it was going to be so new to be able to invest in the new Russia. All these new stories were told on your CNBC, and other business channels. Then came Putin. Highly recommended.

Bill Browder's determination for justice!!!

This book looks like an ideal partner for what's currently happening in Russia. I had no idea the evil was still this bad? Makes you really take a second look at Putin and the Russian people.

Real life thriller

I just finished his book "Red Notice" - simply an "Eye Opener". This book is to be taught in every business school so no one would even imagine doing business in/with modern Russia.

Greed and Power!!!

This book exposes how little has improved since the Wall fell. Russia remains a dark and evil place. Selfishness and power is a dangerous mixture.
