“The false assumption is that almost all people, almost all of the time, make choices that are in their best interest or at the very least are better than the choices that would be made by someone else.” (Richard H. Thaler and Cass R. Sunstein)

Through a series of examples and using the results of decades-long behavioral research, Nobel Prize winner Richard H. Thaler and Harvard Law School professor Cass R. Sunstein demonstrate that most of our decisions are influenced in a number of ways, which can lead us to making poor choices. By knowing how people’s decisions are influenced, you will be able to learn how to make better choices and how to nudge the people around you in the right direction.

Authors Richard H. Thaler and Cass R. Sunstein stress the importance of understanding what influences our decision-making process in order to improve our decisions about health, wealth and happiness.

P.S. Nudge is an extremely useful book that will help you make the right choices in life. By understanding the psychology behind making decisions, you will also be able to help the people around you and use this knowledge in your work.

Disclaimer once again: This book is meant for great companionship to the original book or to simply get the gist of the original book.

Different book

Well narrated, the subject matter is clearly complex but I fully understand all of it (I’m being generous to myself there) it’s about the best balance I could have hoped for on such a mind-blowing set of chapters. I need a lie-down.

Thanks to the author

I've been listening to my book on Audible and have to pause at times to take notes, then replay it to make sure I absorb the information again. It's just that good.

Informative book

Just started listening to this audiobook and I'm very excited to start learning. I purchased another book in the past that I did not like. The information was very hard and I just lost interest. This book seems to focus on simple information.

acheive your goals

I think educating yourself on how to influence is more important than trying to use aggression and authoritative power, you can fly under the radar more easily and accomplish your goals.
