Worst Narration I've EVER heard..

I absolutely love the work of Jocko Willink. He is motivating, inspiring, and a BadAss. I have listened to a 24-hour audiobook in the past, so patience is not the issue here. I bought this for $5 and deleted after 30 seconds in! The narrator sounds as if the robot on the old movie theater hotline were trying it's hardest to be a person. The inflection, pace, and tone is utterly unbearable. Again, much love to Jocko and I hope to read the actual book soon. I only bought the summary because I cannot find the original on audible.com.

This is Horrible!

A mistaken purchase. It is read by an emotionless robot, that does not do justice to how Jocko Willink embodies any of his content. It is a disservice at best. I want my credit back.

Didn't like the reader's voice

Other than the reader's voice, I didn't have much to complain about, given that this is a summary and not the full-length book.

Excellent summary

This is a great summary... I listen to it at 2x speed at least once a week. Well worth the small amount I paid for it. They hit all the main points and it is very motivating.

For beginners

I've been listening to my book on Audible and have to pause at times to take notes, then replay it to make sure I absorb the information again. It's just that good.

Military 101

Mostly terrible and outdated. A few good points. Full of opinionated bro science eg. you should never eat carbohydrates but make sure you eat your veggies. I got a giggle from the reference to the "HORMONE" serotonin.
