Publisher's summary

Inner Engineering by yogi and mystic Sadhguru is a nonfiction book that explores the path to spiritual enlightenment, a state in which joy is constant. Human consciousness is like a machine. When people learn how to master their own minds and bodies as they do machines, they will have the ability to experience profound and sustained joy. Therefore, a person's path to lasting joy begins with mastering their inner experience. To harness the intelligence of their own life force, people should tap into the wisdom of yoga and its time-tested principles. Yoga is a reliable method people can use to get in touch with their own transcendent and divine natures.

Book is great, but narration was bad.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Pronunciation of hindi/sanskrit words was expectedly horrible as it was read by an English speaker. The speaker should be chosen accroding to book.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Dwight Equitz?

Dwight Equitz was not suitable for this book narration. Some Indian speaker knowing HIndi/Sanskrit would have done justice to narration.

Short, key points of the book & simple.

Helped clarify things but nothing like the Book itself & more details are in the book.

Inner Engineering is the key which means you & inside you is the key.

Facinating review of “Inner Engineering”!

I was stunned by the number of references to texts other than the book being reviewed. I have listened and re-listened five times, so far... and learn I have learned something new each time.

The narrator is pleasant to learn from and a pleasure to listen to. I am grateful that I purchased this summary.

I practice the Sadhanas mentioned in the text (INNER Engineering hardcopy and audible versions) and I adore Sadhguru’s guided meditationS on “Insight Timer” Meditation App. This specific resource has really helped me share my fascination regarding Kriya Yoga with others curious about my blissful, smiling vow of unconditional happiness.
In gratitude,
ahimsa
