extremely good biography

this is a well researched. well written biography of a fascinating life. it is certainly not written in academic tone or tenor, the flow is very easy to read and follow along. The author, and by extension the narrator, don't try to bombard you with fancy sounding words that are hard to understand. extremely easy read, highly recommended

Inspiring Femininity

Octavia Walton LeVert's life amplifies her humble intentions to connect with her community. Reading this book as a woman felt motivating. from a mother's perspective reading how she enjoyed the company of her children and husband. It's a remarkable read that can be read again and again. The poetry and description of Mobile's culture, the economic issues and social challenges that existed in the 18th century are fascinating to read about. The information is not rewriting like a dry memoir. The text flow in a vivid and descriptive manner that make the information easier to understand. The tone is the resilience Octavia always showed facing, so many life uncertainties. Its definitely a must read!
