Publisher's summary

Know what a "frunk" is? How about a "solar panel"? Suburban Dictionary is a guide to slang and a guide to the quirky behavior found in the burbs. Suburbanese: the subtle, the funny, and the snarky, with generous helpings of sarcasm.

Hours of fun and (sometimes) snarky expressions. Exposes the slang of the rich, the "wannabes", and beyond. Only listen to this if you love language and if you like to laugh!

Enjoyed this

Just wanted to say "Thanks" to everyone for the fun terms you suggested. Here's where I do my "Irish Goodbye" (pop out without saying goodbye). Cheers!

life's observations

First time author for me. A guide to many sayings that are used in today's vernacular. I'm not sure how someone would search for this book on audible if you didn't know it existed. But it was fun hearing the descriptions of the different ditties (now there's a word for you used incorrectly or maybe not).

They say, whomever 'they' is, that many authors write based on their own observations and the experiences of their own lives. The author says he got many of these words listening to his co-workers over the years. I wonder what he got from me but that's neither here nor there, is it?

And, what would one do without a Molly to keep you up and tuned into all those teen expressions!
