Easy to understand.

Marketing books are typically explained by marketers -- or by ghostwriters who know little about the subject, they're covering. This one is different. The author is not only a skilled author, but she has a firm grip on her topic. The subscription model is impacting sales and marketing in a big way. Author tells you why that's happening and what it might mean for your business. Don't miss this book.

This book is astonishing.

Very listenable on the important ways that subscription businesses are changing the nature of business -- how that requires a renewed emphasis on the basic principles of customer satisfaction through a process of "value nurturing." Worth listening by all levels management in all core business functions.

Easy to understand.

I just finished Anne's book and not only found it incredibly informative and full of great leads, but a real pleasure to listen! The conclusions she comes to throughout the book are very intuitive, and she manages to articulate much of what I've been unable to put into words myself. The explaining is tight, lucid, and often quite funny! I would recommend this book very highly to anyone looking to gain a holistic understanding of the transformational potential of the subscription business model.

No real insights or even basic foundation info

This title is little more than an outline of the book that the author would like to research and write someday. I had to stop listening and return this one at the point where it became clear that the author couldn’t even remember if they were writing a book focused on B2C or B2B marketing. I recommend listening to Anne Janzer’s “Subscription Marketing: Strategies for Nurturing Customers in a World of Churn” instead.

This book is mind-blowing.

I listen to this book cover-to-cover! Anne explains in a straightforward and easy-to-understand manner. This book outlines how subscriptions are changing the landscape for revenue models and how that, in turn, impacts marketing and sales. Filled with examples, especially in Part 2 - Value Nurturing Strategies - where she uses clear, concise, and useful examples of each of the strategies.

Magnificent book.

I was fortunate to receive an advanced copy of the updated version of Subscription Marketing from the author. The book does an excellent job explaining the challenges and opportunities the subscription economy affords marketers. You'll love the refreshed examples included in this second edition.
