Publisher's summary

Clay Maxwell is a smart, quick-witted, sex-driven manwhore with the good looks to match. Plenty of women have shared his bed, but only one has ever been constant: Andrea.

Their rules were simple. When they were together, it was just the two of them. When they were apart, anything was fair game. And it worked. For 10 years. But one of them has changed the game....

Clay must decide if his player ways are worth losing the one girl who has always been there.

Good read

This book was not as good as the previous ones. It was still a decent read. Clay and Andrea's story was a little boring to me however it was interesting to have the characters from the previous book in this one. The ending was great and probably the best part.

JUST FOR THE RECORD, IT'S A GREAT STORY!

My first K. A. Linde story, and I really enjoyed it! I haven't listened to the other audios in the series, but this was a great stand alone. I didn't feel lost or if I was missing any background story. The details provided were enough for me to fully enjoy this story.

Some Spoilers;
I really liked KAL's writing style, it's original, and I loved this story is mainly told from Clay's POV. She did a great job creating a plot around two characters who have an unconventional relationship, and builds lots of drama and angst around their rocky journey to their HEA. I liked how Clay's character got a wake call when Andrea ends their relationship. She wanted more, and he was to scared to be in an exclusive committed relationship. He didn't know what he had until it was gone, but he was determine to prove he could be the man Andrea wanted and needed. Their HEA was all the sweeter after everything these two went through.

Joe Arden delivered a stellar performance! I loved how he portrayed Clay! I enjoyed Andi Arndt's performance as well, even if we had to wait till the end to hear her.

Struck From the Record was a fun story, with a great mix of drama, angst, lots of steamy chemistry, and hot sex scenes. I will be keeping my eye out for more stories by K.A. Linde. Another fantastic KU/whispersync deal!

Bravo 👏

This is my first K.A. Lindt book. I must say, it’s pretty good. More emotional than comedic. I’m a bit confused as to why Andi Arndt only has 1 chapter towards the end to narrate...🤷🏻‍♀️ All other chapters were read by Joe Arden. Arden did great as usual, but there a handful of times where I couldn’t tell which of the male characters he’s voicing because his tone stayed the same. Context clues helped.

I liked hearing a love story from the guy’s POV because almost all romance books have only the girl’s POV. I also liked how their face-to-face drama showed both sides. Both Andrea and Clay were at fault for their issues and they worked it out together.

Even though Clay’s family is a well-known political family, Linde showed a glimpse of the family life for people like them. I believe we see politicians as petty and under-handed, hard working and empathetic, etc., but we don’t know how they are with their family members. Media coverage should only be on the individuals involved in politics, not the innocent family members who feel like they have to live up to expectations that they didn’t ask for.

The drama was very heartfelt. When it was sad, it was very sad. When it was happy, it was so achingly adorable. Linde did add some comedic parts, but not LOL status, just cheeky lol

Good job overall!

Great Story

Really Great story and love the narrators wish there was a lot more of Andi Arndt though, she is amazing narrator, I’m a fan to both. K.A Linde you are such an amazing writer, with these narrators and your story, it really brought it to life, I felt the hurt when the characters hurt, the sadness, the happiness, and got chocked up when they did too! That is all in the writing and helps to have great narrators too 😉
Thanks K.A Linde for such a great book! Loved it!

It was alright.

I didn’t like that the narrator is narrating both pov. The story itself is interesting the concept of open relationship is not often explored in books and this is nice eye opener. Joe Arden’s voice is ofcourse sexy!

Didn't really finish it 😒

Ok so this story started off great but I kinda got off track in the middle. I skipped around a little bit but did finish it. Not anything to brag about. Of course the narration was perfect, story not so much..

Clay is not as crazy as I thought he was. But wish I heard from Andrea more. she seemed really self absorbed. Great book

Author should increase her vocabulary

Interesting but way too many times the word”fuck” is used. Boring. Also the emphasis on the extreme use of alcohol as a way of coping is too much for Me. Not as good as the first book.
