Hearing every thing in the background no fun . . .

The love that started it all. The test, lies, betrayal, loss, understanding, confusion, and drama. Family will stand by you. Family will try to dictate your life. Family will try to break you time and time again for selfish reasons. Through it all Lisha and Kael found a way to see beyond the mess. It took time. It took patience. I am not a fan of hearing all the inhalations, swallows and so forth from my narrator. So having to hear them for hours was a bit aggravating and off putting. No matter how fast I pushed my audio I could still hear them all. I could only imagine how much this would have annoyed me if I was listening in real time. This for me threw off the narration to a fantastic story. The first Strong love. Lisha and Kael.

Love The Strong Family

I've listen to Strong Heat three times now! I also enjoy the other books surrounding the Strong family! Wonderful author and great narrator!

Would you listen to Strong Heat again? Why?

Yes! I will. I really wanted a great love story and this book was that and more! Kale & Leesha...man...the type of love that most people only get to dream about. Like finding a unicorn. I havent read any of the other books, but I will go back and start from the beginning. This book was fantastic. One of the best love stories Ive ever read (coming from an avid reader). If you are like me I research everything to death before I buy it....Take it from me....BUY THIS BOOK!!! You will NOT regret it!

I almost cried at lot of times, but I was at work so I had to play it cool.

Great Ending to Strong Family

I wished I could have listened to a couple of the audibles in this series, but the books were no longer available. However, the ones I've listened to were very entertaining. Now the search to find something comparable!!!

Great Ending to the Strong Family Series

Good entertainment!! If you like African American novels with good storylines and light but appropriate number of sex scenes, I suggest this series. This novel tacks back to the beginning of the Strong Family. How mom and dad met, fell in love but still had ups and downs that threatened to keep them apart. All four of their boys are married and their daughter is engaged and they have several grandchildren, but the story is clearly centered on the early days. Great read and well narrated.

Another outstanding audio serial romance. The book kept my attention, with a few surprises that bought me to tears. The Strong Family Tree appears tight & accepting of one another until an argument happens, the grudges fester, feelings are hurt & before you know it years have rolled by.

I usually pick my books by my favorite narrators, Shari Peele does an excellent job with Niobia Bryant. Together they are sizzled!!!
