The obligation to serve their country created during the years of the "Selective Service" or "Draft" had a way of influencing their plans and directions. For most, it was an obligation that was fulfilled and they moved on with their lives. For a very special few, like this young man, it was an awakening, a discovery most couldn't have imagined until they began the journey.

I was listening to a podcast called so there I was and came across the episode where they interview this marine and he said he had books and I went to check them out and boy am I glad I did

Excellent book

To say this Marine's life is interesting is putting it mildly. Can't recommend it enough. Semper Fi.
