DO NOT BUY

The first 60seconds is missing from the book and the last 30 second defeat the whole purpose of the boom waking you up in such away you feel as if someone slapped you.

If you do decide to buy the book set a sleep timer for 30/40minutes because there is a transition that will jolt you awake and you will be annoyed for a little while before you can relax.

This book is not worth it. The narrators voice is not that relaxing to listen to and the minority of the time you are just listening to relaxing music. You are better of just downloading a relaxing music app.

What were you thinking

Last chapter has credits, so you are all relaxed and then... A loud voice starts talking about credits. Stupid

WAKE UP to hear the credentials !

This book put me into a beautiful sleep. THEN IT WOKE ME UP WITH ITS CREDENTIALS!! How dumb is that?

This Works

I listen to this with earbuds or over the ear headphones as I settle down for a nap or to sleep...I wake up refreshed, calm and reenergized.

Relaxes me at bedtime...

... Falling asleep is much easier for me, when down or anxious if I listen to this. Both the content and his voice are very soothing.

GOOD so far

This is a very hard thing to review since it takes time for the effect to be noticed, but I caught myself smiling at work while clocking in on a Monday at 5:30 am. We had our first snowstorm over the weekend, I live in Nebraska, soooo, is working =)

Really great but...

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I really like and enjoy The Sleep Learning System but who thought dropping the full volume thank you and Audible credits at the end of a sleep program was a good idea? Seriously!?

What was one of the most memorable moments of Stress Relief, Anxiety Self Help, and Deep Relaxation Guided Meditation and Affirmations?

The moment when I was happily sleeping and the damn credits woke me up.

Any additional comments?

Audible and the makers of these meditation and hypnosis recordings need to get their credits in at the beginning. Sticking them full volume at the end waking the listener up is just not a well thought out plan. I'd really love it if this and my other purchased relax learning recordings were recut to move that to a better location.

A complete waste!

It starts off somehow delayed so from the very beginning you're missing something. Eventually you get into it and relax but then are startled awake with the credits. Completely defeats the purpose!

Peaceful sleep, every night

I've never heard all of this book because it is so good at making me fall asleep! I always wake up feeling so refreshed and in general I'm much more alert for the entire day. I used to always need at least 9-10 hours sleep every night and since I've started listening to this ebook my sleep quality has improved so much that even after just 5-6 hours sleep I feel amazingly refreshed and energetic for the whole day. I'm honestly really impressed with the results as I've tried lots of these tapes and this one has been by far the most effective. I would definitely recommend people to try. I have also felt so much calmer and relaxed every day. I have been much more positive and I attribute that to this tape, which is probably why I am leaving it such a good review! :P

Relax and de-stress

I loved it but the Audible announcement at the end destroys the meditation value, just as the meditation is taking effect.

This really works for me!

Like the voice too. I find a lot of the hypnotherapy audio books narration to be either to peppy and upbeat or too slow, or worse a bit patronising. Joel's narration is great.

Not good

I found this title to be featureless and not very user friendly. Mainly only music and not much guided meditation.
