Strength to Strength offers resources that will strengthen your obedient love-faith relationship with King Jesus and give you solid footing in a shaky world.

  • VISION: Inspire flourishing communities of faithful Jesus-followers around the world.

  • MISSION: Advance Jesus’ kingdom by assisting the church in earnestly contending for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints, through tackling thought-provoking topics, by stimulating candid discussions, and by sharing faith-building testimonies.

  • ACTION: We do this by providing multimedia resources including podcasts, videos, and books, and by pointing people to local communities of believers.

Our speakers and writers are supportive of a Christ-centered, kingdom-focused, Scripture-based way of life, specifically as modeled by the Anabaptist tradition. However, we will sell books not written by kingdom Christians when they are able to share a unique or challenging perspective. In engaging with any of our resources we encourage you to be a Berean.

  • "Walk the Talk #9: Spotlight on Kingdom Work" by four brothers
    Apr 3 2026

    March 28, 2026

Strength to Strength welcomed four brothers to share about initiatives that they are involved in.

The unsung heroes of Jesus’ kingdom are the faithful disciples who serve their Lord without fanfare or applause.

Whether you are a warrior in secret prayer, a widow who casts in the last two mites, or a worker advancing the bleeding edge of the kingdom, you can rest assured that deeds of service do not escape the eye of our benevolent King.

  • "Sacred Roots: How the Reformers Slipped in Soteriology" by Philip Hess
    Mar 23 2026

    March 14, 2026

Strength to Strength welcomed Philip Hess to critique the reformer’s views of soteriology.

Did the Protestant Reformers restore the true Apostolic doctrine to the church? Or did they fall short of this goal? Join us as we talk about how the Reformation teaching of “faith alone” did not represent the New Testament’s picture of faith. To support “faith alone”, the Reformers had to promote forensic justification and monergism. Their alliance with the state church kept them from understanding the New Testament vision for the church as a body of the faithful, and led them to make all kinds of compromises with the teachings of Jesus. In this talk, we will discuss “How the Reformers slipped in Soteriology”.

  • S2S Sisters: "The Power of Love: Evangelism" by Faith Zook
    Mar 14 2026

    March 7, 2026

Strength to Strength Sisters welcomed Faith Zook to discuss practical evangelism.

When was the last time I had a conversation with a total stranger? Does talking to the ungodly around us make me feel uncomfortable or do I feel energized by these conversations?

In this talk, Faith will show through humor and stories how we can have the confidence to talk to others about the hope that lies within us. Maybe you will be able to relate to her stories and get new ideas for the neighbors in your life.

This talk is based on the Biblical account of Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman at the well. Jesus meets this sinful woman in an ordinary situation, asks her probing questions, and ends up saving this woman and her friends. It is an amazing story of the power of love to overcome defenses people put up, while giving us an example of how we also can witness to others.

A few ideas will be given in this talk about talking to strangers, being comfortable with the uncomfortable, and pushing conversations into deeper places when given opportunity. Our quiet lives of Christian love are a powerful testimony to those around us, but sometimes our neighbors also need words to be spoken. Our goal is to get those around us to ask the question of whom we speak, “Is not this the Christ?”
