This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
In the debut volume of Strange Things in the Forest, Scott Jones invites readers to step into the dark heart of the wilderness, where reality and the unknown collide. Drawing from firsthand accounts, historical records, and Jones’ own extensive research, this collection uncovers some of the most spine-chilling and inexplicable tales ever to emerge from the forest's depths.

From hunters who stumbled upon unearthly creatures to campers and hikers haunted by unseen presences, each story paints a vivid picture of the mysteries lurking in the shadows of our most remote landscapes. Jones doesn’t shy away from the unsettling details, yet he treats every story with the respect and gravity it deserves, preserving the voices of those who lived these experiences.

Volume 1 delves into encounters with cryptids, strange lights in the trees, unexplained disappearances, and the eerie silence that falls when something isn’t quite right. With a mix of gripping storytelling and meticulous research, Jones captures the essence of what it means to confront the unexplainable.

Perfect for fans of the supernatural, cryptozoology, and true outdoor mysteries, Strange Things in the Forest: Volume 1 is your first step into a world where the forest keeps secrets—and sometimes, those secrets come looking for you.

The stories are good, but I hate virtual voice narration. The inflection is wrong, which gets the tone off, and gets some of the words wrong and it just throws the whole thing off. I tried to like it, but I just don't.

Bad narration, good stories
