Sonny Leonardo was a throwback mobster, to a time when men of honor were just that, men of honor. He had the opportunity to become head of the Marinzano family, but he sidestepped it the same as his father had. His cousin Carmine Lombardo had become Underboss and Renalto Marinzao became the head of the family, where he felt only another Marinzano belonged.

Straight Talk: A Mob Story takes listeners deep into the organized crime culture, as they follow Sonny. They will learn Mob lingo and what it means, such as, “I just delivered a ham and cheese sandwich to the deli”. Most common people have no idea of its meaning, they will be schooled in their connotations. They will ride the deadly New Jersey streets with Sonny and his crew, made up of Italians, Jews, and other nationalities involved with these hardened men.

Listeners will also see the other side of the coin. The caring, the love, and the respect for wives and children. Straight Talk: A Mob Story will be different than any organized crime novel you have ever listened to or followed. Listeners will ask themselves, could they have handled the fast-paced, dirty little towns and cities of New Jersey? Would they have taken the chance to find out what they were made of? Or just be glad they had never been involved with such men.
