Must have Ash!

Kallie should have known that everything would go wrong at her wedding. She didn't need the hassle of James - the man wasn't faithful and treated Kallie as if she were below him. Great choice! Checking out the beach bar, she spots a remarkably handsome bartender, or at least that's what she thinks he is. His name is Ash, and his eye was on Kallie from the moment she walked into the bar. He's a wealthy playboy, a good guy, but wary of getting too close to any woman he meets on the island. His family has so much money that they own half the east coast, but Ash is going to keep that information quiet. The narration is beautifully done by Hayden Hall. The characters' voices are clear and distinct with inflection and tone that brings them to life. 

Just okay

The story and narration were fine, but I won’t remember this book in two weeks. Nothing that would make me listen to it again. It was just a templated, predictable story.
I added a star because so many books in this genre have typos and grammatical errors, and none jumped out at me in this book. Thank you for editing a book before charging me a credit!

Enjoyable, entertaining Audiobook!!!

Stormy Love, an Audiobook by Lexy Timms was the touching, romantic, steamy story of Kallie and Ash. She’s on her honeymoon…without a husband. He’s a bartender on the island. They hit it off!! But, there are secrets left untold…that can ruin everything!!! Ends in a cliffhanger…

This story was narrated by Hayden Hall who did an admirable job of performing the story. Her speaking cadence was fabulous and I loved how she portrayed Calli. Though, her interpretation of Ash seemed off to me. He sounded like an entitled snob. But, I did enjoy everything else about the performance!!

First time I've heard this narrator or listened/read this author.

I loved the narrator, kept you engaged and performed the accent well. I did increase the speed to listen to it, I like a fast pace that way.

I enjoyed the story, it was full of steamy bits and I enjoyed the characters. I read some reviews complaining about the cliffhanger, but it's indicated in the description so I'm not sure why people were surprised...

Kallie was to get married but it all fell apart  and now she's broken hearted on her honeymoon alone where she meets Ash, a local to the island but he's holding a secret from Kallie. What will happen when she discovers the secret? What will happen in the next book?
