Publisher's summary

With a loan shark at her door, can Louisa accept the protection of the brothers Freed?

After her mother's sudden death, abandoning the brothers Freed in the French Alps had been a knee-jerk reaction. Now she is alone once more. When a loan shark comes knocking on her door demanding payment for her mother's debt, Louisa finds herself in danger from a merciless criminal.

Saved from a brutal beating, Bryce Freed offers her the safety of the Freed family home, a job within their company and a warm spot in their beds. With few other options, Louisa finds herself agreeing to his offer. But she isn't sure which scares her more: the man after her money or the men after her heart.

Great continuation!

This book is an amazing continuation of the Brothers Freed series. It had the perfect mix of heat and story. The author could have easily turned this into an over the top sexy book but she didn't and it made it all the better! I am eager for book 3 to come to audio so I can see where Bea will be taking these amazing brothers!

I feel the narration in this book was slightly better than the first. The accent was much easier to understand this time around. I still wish the voices used for the male characters matched the characters more. I feel like one was way to breathy and another was very feminine.

The story continues

This is very much just a continuation of book 1, and unfortunately, I’m not super connecting with this series. The characters are ok, but there just isn’t much plot.

Bea Paige is my new reverse harem queen

Yes, Yes, Yes! Bea Paige is just casually killing the reverse harem game with this series. Even if you removed the naughty bits (which you shouldn’t) the storyline is engaging and keeps you reeled in needing to know what will happen next. I thought I loved the Freed brothers in the first book well I fell even harder for them in this one. And I need a spin off with Nisha and Callum. I just know there is more to him and I would love to find out. I can’t wait to read the last book in this trilogy.

I would recommend this to fans of the first book, reverse harems, sexy protective alphas, mysterious best friends, romantic suspense and badass ladies

Good Continuation

This picks up where the first book left off. All the characters are flawed and damaged in some way, which I enjoy. I love the writing, you can feel the emotions. I wish I could connect with Louisa more though. She seems a little all over the place. The brothers are great, I'd love some of their POV from their time while she was gone. It might help me wrap my head around their love for her better. I do really enjoy the storyline and writing though; it leaves me intrigued to continue reading the third.

Tina Scott's narration was still not my favourite. I'm just not a fan of some of her male voices.

This series was average

I listened to Academy Of Stardom first and LOVED it!!! Hudson was in a lot of this series as Grims best friend. How is he her best friend and always talked about but she's not even mentioned in this series? I had to listen to Hudson's story after listening to 2 series connected to his and was disappointed it didn't lead to the other series. This was this authors first series in this genre. The story wasn't exciting like the other ones and the narrative wasn't good. Her female voice was good but her mom voice and guys voice was so bad! Terrible! The 3 books were also so short. It could have been one book. If I would have started with this series, I wouldn't have listened to any of her other books. Having said that, her other series are awesome and I highly recommend!!

Not Broken Anymore

I enjoyed this reverse harem. The characters had dimension. I liked the heroine's relationship with all three men. There were panty - melting scenes. They each needed to learn to overcome their negative pasts to embrace any happiness or even love.

What an emotional love story!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. The author has written such a passionate, heart-wrenching, and heartwarming love story. The four main characters have all experienced traumatic pasts but the love they now have is healing them. When Louisa is rescued at the beginning of this book, she realizes that she loves these men. There are some hot and emotional love scenes with her men. A old threat rears his ugly head and the men come to the rescue again. This book also ends with a cliffhanger. The third book is out as an ebook but not in audio yet. I felt that the narrator did a much better job this time. I am still not crazy about her voice for Bryce. It seems so labored. She does bring out the emotions of the characters. I highly recommend this Audible book.

#2 of trilogy

This is book #2 of the trilogy about Louisa and the Brothers Freed.
I liked the second story as much as the first one. The brothers are sweet and protective towards Louisa. Although Hudson struggles with his past in this one. I liked that Louisa’s best friend Nissa is having her own romance.

I’m less happy with the narrator, Tina Scott, this time. Only because of how she did the voice of Bryson. He had a lot more to say in this part, and he sounded like a criminal to me. The others are done nicely.
