Sorcha Logan is looking for peace.
Recently returned to her hometown on Scotland's craggy coast, Sorcha wants to tame the spirits that made her flee. When she finds a corpse in the surf, however, she can't suppress the memory of discovering her father's body. Nor can she suppress the ghosts that haunt her - or the town's conviction that she's dangerous and a witch.
Ben Foley is looking for a killer.
An American DEA agent, Ben is in town to investigate the suspicious death of his partner. He's sure that Sorcha knows more than she's letting on, but the more time he spends with the sexy suspect, the less he can fight their illicit attraction. And the less certain he is she's involved with a drug cartel.
But can Ben protect Sorcha from being set up? Or worse - killed?

I also think that Marni French's narration was one of the best I've ever heard.
Great story and excellent writing.

Any additional comments?
A little angsty but still a great read. I really liked Ben and Sorcha. Liked Ewan McKnight all the time and Carolyn only some of the time. AND I was kinda surprised by the bad guys. That was totally unexpected. This is my first book by Toni Anderson and I was pleasantly surprised. I do recommend this book to romance lovers, mystery lovers and paranormal lovers. As to the narrator: If I ever wanted to listen to a book that would put me to sleep this would be the one. Ms. French was soooo boring. She read the entire book with the same monotone voice and most of the time Ben sounded just like Sorcha.
And, speaking of S O R C H A, how do you pronounce that name? Because the narrator was pronouncing it Sir-i-ka. That doesn't sound right, does it? Anyway, it was very distracting when you realize how often the heroine's name is used. Needless to say, I doubt very much that I'll rush right out to buy another book narrated by Marni French.
Great love story..
