Not his best work

Let me start by saying, I have been a fan of Simon R Green for many years. I found this book to be a little flat and definitely not his best work. The story line was slow and somewhat predictable. I found the narration confusing at times as the reader didn't really change voices between characters. I found it difficult at times to understand which character was talking. I don't think I will be finishing this series.

A little repetitive

It was a little repetitive, a bit too much like the first book. The pattern is like an old Scooby Doo episode, there appears to be Monsters and supernatural events, but it turns out just to be normal people.
