Money is simply an asset, but a depreciating asset. In other words, as a result of inflation, your money will lose value steadily and progressively.

Here’s what I mean. If you dug into the ground and hid $1,000 way back in 1960, and then dug it up in 2016, you’d have lost about $7,000. Why? The answer is inflation. Generally, money loses value the longer it is kept. What does this mean for you? It means that you’ll need more money in the future than you’ll need today, even if your expenses do not increase.

The rate at which your money loses value depends on the inflation rate, and since 2000, the inflation rate annually is between one and four percent. That means your money is losing value by about one to four percent every year. This is the issue with many "safe" investment options. The interest rate will probably earn you enough for your money to retain the same value.

In 2018, for instance, the inflation rate in the United States was 2.4 percent, and the best "safe" investment you’d probably have found online was a six-year CD from a commercial bank, such as American Bank who was offering 2.7 percent per year. Plus, there’s no assurance that the inflation rate wouldn’t have increased to, say, 3 percent or even more.

That is why investing is a no-brainer. While saving is a good strategy for managing your money in the short-term, you need a plan for how you’ll invest in the long term.

Make it a bundle

This audiobook has a lot of potential for becoming a bundle. It has plenty of information already, and the narrator does a fantastic job too. However, I feel like it would benefit from more content. A very good listen regardless, and I highly recommend it, even as a singular volume.

Excellent guide for all

I often purchase audiobooks focused on random topics, and this happened to be one of them. I listen to various books on my way to work and back home, so I do not mind the focus. However, this has got me hooked! I have never thought about stock trading as something massively impressive, but this book changed my mind for sure. I have listened to it multiple times now. I have recommended it to a few colleagues from different departments, who ended up loving it! They got their copies not long after, so it must have useful information even for experienced traders. I am delighted I got this!

I wanted to research it and what better way to do it than getting an audiobook! It is very convenient to listen to exciting information while relaxing, running, or even cooking. I am delighted to see how inclusive the author is. You can be an actual beginner instead of books that advertise themself falsely as beginner-friendly, only to be challenging to understand. I am incredibly pleased with how good this audiobook is. It certainly gave me some hope in trying stock trading and investing out someday!

Just like the author states, you do not have to be an expert to dabble in stock trading. If you have no prior experience with trading, this audiobook will be a lifesaver for you. It is straightforward and includes all of the information you need to start – from techniques and trustworthy advice to tips and tricks. I especially liked how many strategies were included! I am amazed by the quality of Henry Anderson's work and the narrator's delivery. It is an audiobook that any other author should strive to produce. This brilliance certainly deserves no less but a full five-star rating!

Terrible audio

Sounds awful to listen to, often like a robot or being read by computer. It’s really distracting and some words make no sense. Content ok, but the way it’s read makes it boring.

Best on the market, at least from what I can find, this is one of the best audiobooks out there for stock trading and investing. It has plenty of need to know knowledge and tips to help make sure you are successful in your endeavors and don't just end up losing money.
