Well She Is Still Talking

Taking about a lot of depressing mumbo jumbo. Most celeb-bio's are funny and uplifting and give the reader (or listener) a deep look inside of the personal life and emotions of the celeb's life. This audio book on the other hand was just a long sad story about Edgar Rivers. Very little of this book dealt with Joan herself. Yes there were bits and pieces of personal information but everything was about Edgar this and Edgar that. I did not purchase this audio book to hear about the life and times of Edgar Rivers. I wanted to hear about Joan, about the gossip, the plastic surgery, the juicy details of her assorted life. But instead it was the sad and depressing memiors of an old dying man. Edgar Rivers.

If you are going to purchase this audio book to learn about Joan Rivers and her life look elsewhere. That story is not here.

Joan Rocks

Imagine the struggles of a female during the age of domination by men. She speaks of the negative impact that her husband's demands created without maybe seeing that without the voice of this man many options may have never been discussed. He meant no harm, just wanted the world to see the value he knew you were worth.

A good listen.

It was good to hear about the softer side of Joan Rivers. Enjoyed the story.
