A lot of twists and turns in the book kept getting surprised each chapter differently not boring! The narrator was great had a clear voice that kept the book exciting, can't wait for book two!

Perfect book to listen to in between more traditional scifi or fantasy novels. Narration is spot on and for those of us with toilet humor...turn the fan on and give a courtesy flush.

First LITRPG experience
Being my first experience with this type of literature, going in I had no idea what to expect. After a few chapters I felt like I was listening to a play through of some of the RPGs I’ve enjoyed throughout the years. All of the characters of the story, especially those who were in multiple chapters, were easy to distinguish due to the voice acting. I enjoyed my time listening overall and would like to hear more from this author and narrator.

Pleasantly surprised
It's well worth a listen. It has some light litrpg elements but not too much. Not overly crude with the sex crap like some. Lots of action and a good scifi / wasteland scenario.

When the aliens came down and told us they’d enslave all of the human race if we didn’t send our bigliest warrior to participate in their arena death games, I laughed at them. It was really funny because they obviously didn’t know who they were dealing with. Know what I mean? Then they said they would pick the greatest warrior, and they picked Marc Havak. He seemed like such an average guy, but he was a true-blue American. He even worked as a truck driver! That’s the kind of good guy we want defending us from aliens.
