Stephanie Spider Hands

Stephanie is a child prodigy pianist. She has a loving family and a promising future. At least, that's what it looks like from the outside looking in. The truth is a bit more complicated. Stephanie is a malcontented young lady who might be a little too smart for her own good. When she orchestrates her own kidnapping for the purpose of shaking up her little world, she finds that she has taken her talent for granted. When her hands are damaged beyond repair her mother becomes obsessed with a way to fix her. Evenutually a controversial and morally questionable solution presents itself. Through the use of Necro-biology, doctors embark on using dead spiders to repair Stephanies hands.

What happens next is the kind of nightmare fuel that will have you turning on all the lights in the house, checking under your bed and jumping at every little sound.

A serious page turner!

I felt so many emotions throughout this book from disgust to sadness to excitement! This story captivates you from the very beginning, following the heartbreaking and thrilling life of Stephanie, who you will instantly fall in love with. Her fiery personality and bravery through this whole book is admirable and makes you want to keep on reading. The narrator did a phenomenal job capturing each character’s personalities and feelings, and really brought this story to life.

The story

If you’re listening to this on Audible brace yourself. Hearing this story makes it even more intense. The pacing, the atmosphere, the silence between moments it amplifies the dread. This is a headphones-on, lights-off experience.
Not for the faint of heart but absolutely for horror lovers who want something that sticks.

Narrator was horrible

The stoey itself wasn't very good, but the narrator had me hating it from the beginning. She couldn't even keep the voices she was doing straight.
