Publisher's summary

Point of no return.

Alastair Stone, determined to harness enigmatic mage Trevor Harrison’s potent power source, takes a desperate chance - he travels to the dimension where it originates, hoping to convince Harrison to teach him its secrets.

He should have expected things wouldn’t go as planned.

Stranded without his power in an exotic, unfamiliar world rich in magic and ruled by tyrannical practitioners, Stone knows his only chance of getting his magic back is to find Harrison - a man who has good reasons for not wanting to be found.

But first, he has to stay alive long enough to do it.

Love this series. The author is creative, entertaining, and never repetitive. If you choose to enjoy these stories start at book 1. The read is also excellent!!!

BRILLIANT. MOST ENJOYABLE.

Very, very talented author. R L King is indeed a brilliant writer. The storyline and plot for the Alastair Stone Chronicles is one the most interesting series I have come across. Will M Watt's performance/narration bring the characters to life and makes listening to the book more enjoyable. I hope the next book will be published soon as I cannot wait to hear the next adventure of Alastair. Worth the credit. Thank you Audible for bringing this fantastic and wonderful series to us fans.

Not my favorite

Well, I downloaded the book and I was very excited to continue the series that has me hooked and somewhat binging...unfortunately, there were so many similarities to other stories I had read in the past, that I was tempted to just skip to the last two chapters of the book! I had not even made it to the 20th chapter and I was weary of the plot. But, I am glad I finished the book and listened to each chapter.

ps, still not excited about Alastair's love interest, its creepy feeling...and not the good kind of creepy.
