I started after watching the show because I became curious what could happen in the next season. I will say its nice that the show and the book series are different but similar. I find myself enjoying both and wanting more from the show and the book series. I've actually made it to book 9 now only 2 left which makes me sad. how I long to be a sweet magnolia

what a story, such a love story, enjoyably well told, the "hot" parts were told in a way that used your imagination, to bring you more into the actual story. made for a very nice afternoon under the oak trees; just listening to a good book & feeling the breeze pass over. thank you and will be checking out this series that Audible offers, oh yeah , Stina Nielsen has a nice voice for this book. the kids being a part, a pretty important part...it was truly well read. so many women, different accents and drawl for all of them plus the men..lot of people's...really. that was impressive. but the story was so heart felt. a woman, being blindsided in the worst kind of a way...& 20 years ultimate betrayal to pull herself up like that; was incredibly hard to find in one's being. by themselves (ok- she did have a very solid "help" backing of those 2 friends plus her slightly off the wall wack job for a mother; albeit...with very sound ideas & true love and care for daughter/grandchildren) for them and their children and no other reason...till later. then look out. things get steaming and the soon to be "ex" just doesn't or can't get it. the door shut when he left and hit him in the backside.{ waiting till Sept for all my renewal credits is going to be very difficult‼️💋} 🙏❤️✌️

Haven’t seen the Netflix show but wanted to read all the books first! I wasn’t let down, I was addicted to this book the whole time through. Maddie got a little annoying at times, especially with her decision making but I loved the ending and was happy that it wasn’t erotic in anyway. Since an older lady recommended me this book I was a little worried lol

I absolutely loved this book! The performance was awesome! I loved how each character worked through their issues!

Southern Bells

This book is a true picture of the drama and gossip of a southern small town. Kept me on my toes! 10/10 recommend!
