Dark romance. 1POV. HEA. Standalone but book 2 of.
⚠️Trigger warning for dubious consent.
This is a “hot damn” dark romance. It has an extreme alpha male and lots of sexy scenes. It can be read as a standalone but includes the two characters from the first book. It’s nice to see the continuation of the first book character’s love story. The only reason why I gave the story a four and every thing else a five is bc the story is pretty similar to the first one. I will be reading the third one in awhile but need to take a break bc the summary reads similar to the first two books.

Sweet in a Bad Way!!!

Sinful and steamy!!
This audio was even more intense than the first. The alpha male is even more possessive though he’s not the boss he has a darker presence and a more caveman sense of possessiveness. He’s never known love so he doesn’t know how to show it and lots of his actions are seen as bullying instead of protective and caring. Ones again Blake Richards voice is alluring and fierce, Perfect for the character he is portraying. There is forced submission intertwined with the intensely hot sex that is needed for Amy to reach the headspace where she can let go and give in to what her true desires are. Nothing short of sinful and steamy. A great follow up with just as much, if not more, emotion, possessiveness, some graphic violence, and suspense. Put them all together and it ultimately ends in love .

This book was too similar to the first one; same story different character names. I hope the last book has a storyline that doesn’t follow the same formula. Blake did a great job with characters. Liona wasn’t bad.
