Publisher's summary

Pat Buchanan is sounding the alarm. Since 9/11, more than four million illegal immigrants have crossed our borders, and there are more coming every day. Our leaders in Washington lack the political will to uphold the rule of law. The Melting Pot is broken beyond repair, and the future of our nation is at stake.

In this important audiobook, Pat Buchanan reveals that, slowly but surely, the great American Southwest is being reconquered by Mexico. These lands are being detached ethnically, linguistically, and culturally from the United States by a deliberate policy of the Mexican regime. Unless the invasion is halted now, Buchanan argues, America will become a country unrecognizable to our parents, what Theodore Roosevelt warned against when he said we must never let America become "a polyglot boardinghouse" for the world.

Laying out a sweeping immigration reform and border security plan, State of Emergency is essential listening for all Americans. With an estimated 10 to 15 million "illegals" already here and tens of millions more poised to pour across our borders, few audiobooks could be as timely or important.

Compelling

This is a truly scary read. Buchanan traces the historu of immigration in America. He notes that our borders were essentially closed from 1924 until 1965 when the laws were rewritten as part of "The Great Society." The unintended consequences include 12 million illegals and 20 million legals which are now demanding parity, benefits and the right to bring an unlimited number of their friends and family.

The paper book has 27 pages of footnotes and a 9 page index. There is a lot of data quoted to support his thesis and it is impossible to keep it all i a listner's head. The hardcover details his sources.

This is a politically incorrect book that is bound to stir controversy and accusations of racism. Buchanan is a man who does not mince words. The topic is important and it is made clear that the government is willing to commit billions to overseas adventures but unwilling to staunch the invasion of over 1 million illegals on our southern borders. We can only hope that he is wrong.

Read it and take action!

A must read for all Americans. Our prosperity has lulled us into believing that we are immune to a change for the worse. History repeats itself and unless we recognize that what happened in the past can happen to us in the future, our way of life will change. The "shining light on a hill" will be extinguished and the world will slide into another session of the dark ages.

Mexican Illegal Invasion= Reclaiming of America

Americans overlook the fact that most of the southwestern United States once belonged to Mexico- the whole states of California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, as well as parts of Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma and Kansas. Not until the Mexican - American War 1846-1848 did America take possession/annex of these lands. Mexico was devastated by the war and despite financial compensation paid by the US $15 million for lands and additional money for damages deep resentment over the lost territory lingers on today.
The flood of illegals across the border is an invasion. What Mexico could not do by force it is accomplishing through mass illegal immigration. Mexican immigrants will outnumber all other races if the current trends are not stopped and our borders secured. These illegals have no interest in assimilating, rather they remain separate with their own customs, national pride in Mexico, and their own language. Elites have facilitated this division by making Spanish the official second language. Mexico being a third world country produces people with a third world mentality so as Mexican illegals become the predominate population in America so will America revert to a third world country. Our borders must be secured and Trump's immigration reform must be implemented reducing legal immigration by 1/2 with stipulation allowing for entrance to those who add value to America not take from it.

Excellent

As always Buchanan speaks to the issues the main stream media won't touch with a 10 foot poll. We are in a state of emergency and our government elites refuse to sound the alarm. Our country is being invaded and we stand idly by as our borders and our very country is compromised. Here Pat sounds that alarm with clarity and crispness, let's hope people begin to listen.

Looking back ‘Don’t we All Look Like fools

If we would have listened to even Half of what Buchanan was screaming from the rooftop about. This country would look and feel like a whole other place…. Great Listen!
