Publisher's summary

Can the fate of a forgotten starbase hold the key to the moon’s survival?

Long before the Anniversary Day bombings brought the moon to its knees, a far-flung starbase became the testing ground for a diabolical plan: the annihilation of every human inhabitant by an army of clones.

Every lead to the masterminds behind the bombings uncovered by criminal kingpin Luc Deshin dead ended in an Earth Alliance connection.

Undercover operative Iniko Zagrando refused to play patsy for the Earth Alliance Military Division Intelligence Service, and now he’s fleeing for his life from his old bosses.

And Frontier Marshall Judita Gomez puts her own life and the lives of her team on the line when her search for the origins of the Anniversary Day assassins leads to an Earth Alliance cloning factory.

From the quiet courage of a Disappeared who struggles to decide whether to come out of hiding to the potent fury of a master criminal who puts a plan in motion to strike back at an overwhelming enemy, Starbase Human brings listeners one step closer to the exciting conclusion of the Anniversary Day saga.

The author as weaver...result...beautiful!

Kristine Kathryn Rusch and Jay Snyder have teamed up to produce an intricate tapestry in this saga. Each of the novels in this universe has wrapped threads of questions and speculation around this listener. I keep saying to myself, "I wonder if..." or "Will this character ever..." or "WHAT THE..???" This storytelling team has kept me on the edge of my seat and coming back for more.

With this 7th installment of the saga, "loose threads" are being woven into a complex tapestry that is very enjoyable, very scary and very beautiful. I will definitely be going back to the beginning of the saga and listening to the first 7 books so that I can be ready for book 8.

Thank you - Kristine & Jay - for creating such a masterful work!

The author delivers!

As promised, Ms Rusch has gotten down to business and moved the story forward with plenty of action. Those of us who have waded through, and paid for, middle chapters in the saga which should never have been separate books, are now rewarded with a story beginning to tie up the loose ends in the saga, and there are plenty of them. Lots of good detective work, tense drama and the usual good character development are present in abundance. A good penultimate episode.
