Despite Hunter’s concern with Phee’s precarious plans, the rest of the crew is fine following her lead.

Things go wrong almost immediately, as Phee’s droid blows the crew’s cover at a high-stakes auction, and they barely make it out with the relic they’d been paid to acquire. Hunter insists they finish their first mission and deliver the relic before taking on more work, but Phee and the others push forward with a second job: ferrying a couple on the run, one of whom is due to give birth at any moment. Hunter worries that they’re risking too much, especially when their mysterious new passengers cling to lies and secrets that trace back to an Imperial Security Bureau officer hot on their trail.

As Hunter tries to get the crew back on a stable, safe path far, far away from anything to do with the Empire’s watchdogs, their overlapping missions only invite more danger and chaos. On the verge of failing both their desperate passengers and their community on Pabu, the Batch must remember that the only way they succeed, the only way they survive to fight another day, is by trusting each other.

Took some time to get used to the voices.

I would have loved if Dee Bradley Baker had narrated. I was so used to his voices for all the clones. still the reader made them unique and fairly close to what Bradley did for them. It left me in suspense several times when I had to quit listening. The new characters were intense. Crain was a good bad guy. Celia was even better. So incredibly Evel and egotistic.

A Phee Genoa story

I was looking forward to this book, but was disappointed to find how much Phee takes center stage. Her character and voice are annoying and take me out of the story every time she opens her mouth. Her highschool infatuation with Tech, calling him "Brown Eyes" etc,, were eye rolling during the show, but even more out of place in this gritty tale.

More Bad Batch!!!

Loved to hear more of their adventures. This audiobook version was great and everyone sounded pretty close to their animated Bad Batch series

Feels Just Like A Lost Bad Batch Episode.

Story was entertaining & all of the characters’ personalities came across well. If you’re a Bad Batch fan definitely read it.

non stop action

there is a plot that permeates through the whole adventure. However, the main component of the whole story is the physical action that only stops at the end.

Feels Like a Lost Arc of The Bad Batch

I really enjoyed listening to Star Wars: Sanctuary. The story was engaging and full of twists that kept me invested. It felt very much like a three-episode arc of The Bad Batch animated series — fans of the show will feel right at home.

I’m not giving it five stars for two reasons:

1. The story was solid and entertaining, but it never quite reached “great.”
2. Marc Thompson’s performance for Phee and Omega in the opening chapters felt a little off. Either I got used to it or he adjusted his delivery, because it became much less noticeable as the book went on — but it did stand out at first.

Overall, I’d still recommend this audiobook to any Bad Batch or Star Wars fan.

Great series, great novel.

I loved listening to the bad batch on Disney plus, and I wanted more clone action. I have it now This book is a must listen if you are a fan.
