Save your time and Money

I have read (listened to) almost every Star Wars novel written including the short story collections from the EU and "From a Certain Point of View". The stories in this collection are frankly short on depth, detail and connection to the overall storyline or history of Star Wars. As for the narration, I am unimpressed. I get the idea of the style of hushed tones that we think of when telling the tales of lore, but this was flat and uninspiring. I am a completionist I love Star Wars and I really like the books that tell and connect the story beyond the screen. This book added nothing to the storyline. it ranks in the bottom 5 books of the Star Wars overall universe.

building the myth and magic of fable and Star wars

this was a fun and definitely different Star wars book. a mix of of familiar faces and not so familiar faces. the narration is akin to sitting around a big campfire on a summer night listening to a master storyteller recount tales of action

a truly immersive experience

The narrator holds this book of stories in his heart, you can feel his energy in every word he speaks. He invests you in the story and you won't want him to stop. Thanks to all the writers whose wonderful imaginations came up with these classic beauties!

Short & Sweet

Great listen as always with the Star Wars production. Fun cool stories were chalked full of fun tidbits and easter eggs for fans. Wish it was longer.

Good Myths. Gaze into Stone made me very happy.

Gaze into Stone was my favorite. Some are better than others but this is worth checking out overall.

Building lore in a galaxy far, far away

When it comes to Star Wars, there are many forms of media that you can go to to help make the galaxy a real place, with real people and real events. When I found this book, I was excited because I thought that this would dive deep into some of the legends and lore that shape the Star Wars universe. Though the stories in this book do in fact do that, it leaves you wanting a little more. All the stories have relevance in the shows and movies and even the parks, but nothing that was told was eye opening or refreshingly new. Though I was entertained and didn’t have any moments of boredom, I still wish there was something else that this book can provide. Still a fun listen, but nothing ground breaking.

An interesting collection.

As far as I know, there wasn't one like this made in the Legends continuity. A great cllection of myths. Narration is excellent. No sound though, which I found odd. Still, fine effort.

Very disappointing

If this was a Freshman creative writing course... I’d have give it a C... err C minus.
