Truly Entertaining!

Very well done for a Star Wars audiobook. Even though it is abridged, the 6 hour run-time leaves enough material to make this audiobook entertaining. That said, you can still notice gaps where, I assume, material was cut out for the abridgement. This can be annoying after a while. I won't beat around the bush, I loathe any abridgement and I would encourage people to complain to the publisher so that they will begin releasing unabridged versions of these books. Other than that, this book was excellent. Marc Thompson is one of the most talented narrators that I have heard. It is a pleasure to listen to him. The different character voices that he assumes throughout the book are executed flawlessly and I had to keep reminding myself that it was the same person speaking. The writing, sound production, and music were all top notch. I would give this 5 stars if not for the abridgement.

One last thing, stay away from any of the star wars audiobooks that are less than 6 hours in length. They are so butchered by the abridgements, that they are not worth your time or money. Quite a few of these are narrated by Anthony Heald and he is just plain awful. I found this out the hard way. Just remember, Anthony Heald = extremely poor narration. Jonathan Davis = Extremely good narration. Marc Thompson = Outstanding narration.

Good for Abridged

This is an abridged version so quite a bit of the book is left out. One thing missing are Jacen's jokes at the beginning of each chapter. There is also alot of description missing. But . . . you can follow the story and you do get the main part of what the authors of this series were trying to get across. It really isn't bad for abridged. I wish audible would do unabridged of these.

Worth waiting for

My son has been waiting for this since he finished listening to Book 8. He loved it and could not wait to get back into the car to hear more, he was actually hoping for red lights to make the drives to school longer. It was a good end to the story and we are looking forward to future stories with the characters we have watched grow over the years.

would be a better movie

this series of books would make a better series of movies by far, then the movies we have being presented now.

Excellent Series ! Great Finale!

Highly recommended! 3rd or 4th time listening to this series. It's very well read and has a great story line! I wish the new movies were based off of these novels. Darth Caedus is a much better character than Kylo Ren!

Amazing series

The entire Legacy of the Force series was an amazing ride, there was action, drama, your emotional strings were tugged on and this fine book in their series is as gripping as the first!!! truly a must listen for any Star Wars fan.

I loved it, wish the star wars books weren't abridged though. Mark thomson is killing it though

Unbelievable Series

Without giving any spoilers away, the ending of this series road on many highs and lows and didn't disappoint in any way.

rushed

I listened to the rest of this series, narration is superb, voice acting amazing...however this book impaticular you can really tell it was abridged. I really wanted to listen to this story line...so I did. I don't regret the credit.

A good ending to the storyline with an emotional tag to the action involved. ties of nicely the legacy of the force thread within the star wars cannon

Great End To A Fantastic Series!!

Such a great ending to such an amazing series!! Seeing the culmination of Jacen Solo's fall to the Dark Side and having to pay for all the atrocities he caused!! Amazing Writing, I enjoyed reading the book years ago, but enjoyed it even more so on Audible!!
