Why is Zoe gay

I love all the books that he wrote and I’ve listened to all of them at least 5 times BUT it’s terrible to have Zoe a kid as queer I’m sorry Stuart but that ruined it for me which is really saying something I hope you change that in your next book or you will not have as many listeners this is actually so disappointing

Series has gone downhill

Narration was good, as always. However the series has gone downhill. I'm not a fan of politics and social agenda in kids' books. Both of my children, unprompted, stopped listening mid way through the book.

Not as good as the others

I’ve read all the spy school books several times over, but the 11th just wasn’t good. Why can’t we go back to “spy school” with dorms and classes then spider black mailing Ben making him go on a mission with his friends to save the world. Now it’s all about saving the environment!?? What happened to “James Bond” like stuff. There needs to be more: tropical cruise missions, and epic highway car chances. This book was not a spy school book. (Or at least what I thought spy school was like)

Ok book

Really like this book expected more from the author after all the other books I’ve read from him I said this is a mediocre back. There could be some improvements.

Feedback

I liked all the spy school books until this one. The relationship that Zoe had literally ruined it.

Leaving my second review

Again I thought the book was ok and I’m not against LGBTQ but the whole Zoe thing was just completely unnecessary and for some family’s they don’t want their kids exposed to this kinda stuff so yeah it was just an extra little thing that made the book not as good

I sorry

I enjoyed the story and like the path it took. The only reason I have rated this book this way is because a couple events in this story made my experience listening to this book less enjoyable. I found it a little predatory that politics were added to a children’s book, especially when one side is made to be the villain. I have read all of the previous books and know this author likes to promote environmental issues and I have no problem with that, but the addition of politics not only ruined the book for me, it also ruined the characters (Spoiler Alert). Catherine was the only adult not to go against stopping the Russians. She actively promotes the children going on this mission. This puts her in a bad image, especially when Cyrus and Alexander try to stop the kids from going on this dangerous mission. Actually this ties into the politics thing. Gibb’s could have easily wrote it to where the kids are forced to stay back while the adults handle it. This has been done multiple times in the series before making it feel like the author (No offense) wanted to enforce his political ideas. In all it is not what he is promoting that I have a problem with. The problem I have with this book is the predatory use of politics at the expense of the book and the characters.

Zoe ruined it for me. I love the series and I hope the next book better.

Didn’t like Zoe, but I don’t want one character to ruin the book for me.

Hello

I hope that the next book isn’t rushed like this one. I usually LOVE Stuart Gibbs books but this not so much
