Scientific in a sporty way

The author compares studies in the human psyche to why people love the Chicago Cubs. A quirky, scientific, humorous way to describe why people enjoy a losing team. Though some parts of the scientifc theory can be a bit long and drawn out, overall, it's a unique way to get into the brain behind hardcore fans and how a losing team continues to thrive through the same fans.
