After one too many late-night discussions, football fanatic Paul Watson and his mate Matt Conrad hatch the perfect plan: find the world's worst national team, become citizens of that country, and win an international cap by playing for them. Wikipedia leads them to Pohnpei, a remote Pacific island whose team is described as 'the weakest in the world' - and in urgent need of a coach....
This book was more then just a story about football (soccer). This is the story of Paul Watson and his friend Matt Conrad and there quest to coach a National team. Getting the job is only the first step in setting up an entire football program. The players come to life in this book and you get a real sense of community.
This is an inspirational story about a team no one cared about and how two men with a dream changed things for the better.

I loved this book. Great story and a great little view of life in a place you've most likely never heard about.
If you like football and travel books you'll probably love this. If you only like one of those two it's still a very good read.

I was captuvated from the moment it started to the moment it finished.
Truly a great listen and left you wanting to know more. Hope there is a follow up one day to bring us all up to date.
Its great to see someone start a dream and make it a reality not just for themsepves but others as well.
A story of selfless dedication to a sport that is loved by many .but all too often highlighted for greed
This book is absolutely amazing, it gives a great insight into the management side of football and how important it is to be orderly, have respect and get the experience of other places. This book is also just good for just a general laugh.
