Easy but Powerful

Would you listen to Mind Gym again? Why?

A great book to inspire athletes in their quest for mental excellence and self confidence. A required listening for college course.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mind Gym?

If you struggle with mental blocks during or before competition this book is a must read. Great book to assist in everyday life and goal setting as well.

Excellent selection of sayings and instruction from top athletes, sports psychologists, coaches and managers. Good instruction on the mental game. As Yogi Berra said, 70% of this game is mental, and the other half physical!!!!

What made the experience of listening to Mind Gym the most enjoyable?

Yes Underrated book that can be applied to business as well. Excellent read, filled with inspirational quotes and ideologies. If you're trying to improve your game and your life, get this book!

Phenomenal. A must read for serious athletes.

The book was pretty slow moving, which was good because I can understand it better when it goes slower and it was very informative. This book was very good and I was wondering if the author made this book for a specific age group or a type of person, like someone who likes to workout or goes the gym or likes sports. I really like how this book gets into detail and and the lessons it presents about becoming a gymnast. I really like how it shows what it takes and how mentally strong one has to be in order to be able to become a gymnast.

Good information

I liked the principles I got from the book about focus, preparation and training in your mind gym. Athletes at all levels could benefit from the advice and the author knows how to tell a good story. I was not only touched by the words but I understood how to apply each of the situations and quotes to my own life. I now see many things in a new light. This is an incredible book and a must listen.

all in all i'm glad I listened to it and may come back to it for certain chapters.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. it provided a lot of many fabulous insights like how positive attitudes can be a tremendous influence on a person and a world. The narration was in a fairly strong accent which wasn't ideal but I do like that it was narrated by one of the authors of the book.

I was looking of a book that would give me a new approach to the way I pitch. This book has allowed me to find a calmness and confidence while on the mound and the ideas and concepts have overflowed into the way I approach my life.

A book that makes you learn by practicing.

This book is different compared with the regular handbook which are mostly theory, this one gives many examples and excersices that guide you through actually learning the concepts. this book shows us How to overcome fears, how to boost our confidence, How to turn weaknesses into strengths, How to believe in our dreams, and How to make our lives even better and may useful inspiring information on our improvement. Great inspiring book.

Good for coaches and athletes alike.

I think anyone who is just beginning a sport will benefit the most from this book. More advanced athletes probably already practice these techniques. This is a fast read so don't expect to spend more than a couple hours digesting the information. I took a few notes and felt like I learned quite a bit about mental game.

Outstanding book

If you want to listen an inspiring book on the power of the mind in sports, then this book is for you. It is not too packed with information, but it underlines many of the important points in mental coaching. Great stories and examples make it an uplifting read. The only thing missing was a step-by-step instruction guide to mind management - practice makes perfect.

Good book for young athletes

This book is not just for athletes. I grew up in an athletic family married an athlete but I was never an athlete myself. I am a hypnotherapist ( not stage hypnosis!)I give this book to some of my clients (who are not athlete's) for motivation and so far most love it!A great book for athletes looking to take the next step. But also recommended for anyone looking to set goals in their life and have a better chance of achieving them.
