Ultra Running from a Woman Perspective

I listened to this book because I got to personally meet Vanessa and her boyfriend Shaky at Los Pinos 50K in 2011. She brings up good points about the unfairness in the Ultra Running Community between men and women. I do tend to be somewhat biased not because Im a male reading a book that is for female but because I feel she generalizes men in a manner that is not fair because we are all different yet despite that I am open minded enough to see through her eyes while also being objective. It is a good read.

Badass Babes!

Of course I've enjoyed this book from beginning to end during my training runs on the beautiful California mountains and trail. Unfortunately, today, I've completed the book, but feel after the content I am just beginning to run and maintain my badass perspective on the sport that's enriched my life for more than 40 years. Thank you for joining forces with many women to share stories and connect. See you on th dirt!

No story just complaints

This book would be better if there was more of a narrative. It's completely chopped up by hundreds of quotes grouped together by topic.. I was hoping for more
