Charmaine Joliet gets an offer she wants to refuse but can't. Someone from the old neighborhood knows a dark secret, one that could make Charmaine and her younger sister Jessi homicide suspects. But she'll keep quiet a price. The client "hires" Charmaine to help rid her of an unwanted rich husband. Meanwhile, troubled Jessi is in jail again for assault. The police would believe Jessi is capable of murder and that Charmaine is willing to be an accessory to protect her.

Charmaine juggles saving Jessi from herself, solving a murder, staying out of jail, and not becoming a hit woman. Charmaine and Jessi have psychic abilities that help them come up with a much needed but risky Plan B. Once again, supernatural skills and street smarts kick in to save the sisters from a dangerous smooth operator.

Chilly winner

Spooky, suspenseful and fun. Enjoyed the short stories and narration. Looking forward to more stories featuring the two psychic sisters.

I loved all the twist in the stories. I hope she is going to write more about the sisters. Great books.
