The Spirit of Warrnambool- Hitting the heights
I do like Barry Metcalf's books. Each book, moreover is better than the last and this one is no exception. I feel like I have experienced every emotion there is just listening The Spirit of Warrnambool. Warrnambool is a city on the south-western coast of Victoria, Australia. Martin and Claire are sent to Warrnambool to investigate a savage and despicable murder of Wanda Jean . Before they have time to collect their thoughts, more murders occur and each more bizarre than the last. The latest killings was so reminiscent that the ASIO agents on edge wondering about their belief. The story is gripping, exciting and so well explained, and the twist at the end just made me gasp. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys a book that is unpredictable and thrilling to listen this, you will be glad you did.

what a fantastic mystery suspense thriller book
A must, must definitely listen! Barry Metcalf is on a roll here. I can't make up my mind which is the best of his books. I fell in love with every book . If you want to love the best one, you'll love Spirit of Warrnambool even more. So many twists and turns, suspense, breathless moments. A real page-turner and I wished the book would never end. What a gripping story. Thanks Barry Metcalf for such a suspense thriller book like Spirit of Warrnambool. This one was amazing. Looking forward to the next one..

Gripping Crime Thriller with lots of Twists
Well I was not expecting this storyline was so happy that Claire was pregnant and they would get a happy ending after the cancer, only to get sucker punched at the end, can't wait for book 4 to come out on audible
