Intriguing

This tale is every bored housewife’s fantasy (I should know since I am one). A steamy romance with a burly Scot? Count me in. I found myself entranced by the narrators voice. When he speaks for Hugh, the character comes to life. The emotion was captured perfectly and I found my own heart fluttering at his words. I might even listen to it again just so I can hear him say “lass”.

All that oversharing aside, it is a fun story with action, a bit of magic and plenty of romance. There is something for everyone, not just the housewives.

Spellbound by Patricia Simpson is an amazing paranormal romance. Colin Marshall did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, enjoyable, funny, intriguing, steamy, spicy, romantic, and more.

Fate, Magic, Evil, Greed, Love & More

A story that spanned centuries. Spellbound is not a period piece although there are historical references. Characters' life stories from past and present are intricately interwoven. Unexpected twists, some dark evil people, fate or magic or God all may javelin a role to play.
The narrator does a good job with both masculine and feminine characters and the accent helps transport you to see and feel the events as they unfold.
Give it a try you may just find yourself listening to it straight through!
