Speculator entertains and makes you think

Great story. Very hard to put down.
The characters were all exceedingly well described and I am really in a hurry to see where the author goes with them, as the series continues.
Please don't make us wait too long Mr. Casey.
You have a great talent for describing the world that exists beneath the perceptions of those who think that reading the newspaper is the way to know what is going on in the world.

My Favorite Modern Fiction Book

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's pace was perfect and I was on the edge of my seat. It is well narrated. It is rare that I listen to a book in such a short time.

The libertarian commentary might be off putting for some but I enjoyed it and at times it was implemented in a comical way.

I don't recall learning so much from a fictional book before. I learned some things about anatomy, speculation, mining companies, and found myself googling concepts I was unfamiliar with. It is the first time I encountered the term "Gamma Male".

Best novel series of this generation.

Each one of these books are the best novel since Atlas Shrugged. Can't wait for Assassin to come out on Audible.

Fantastic story and great narrator!

This book definitely exceeded my expectations. I love how well it blended deep economic and political themes with rich characters and a lot of action and intrigue. It was both entertaining and educational all the way to the end.

Sex, guns, gold, politics, money, and most importantly, great philosophy!.....what's not to like?

I've listened to a lot of books on audible, but this is the first one that I was truly sad when it was finished. I can't wait for the next one.

Props to the narrator too, I never had to guess what character was speaking. Multi-accent, multi-tone, great job!

Highly recommend to everyone, but I think freedom loving/liberty minded individuals/investors who reject collectivism will enjoy it most!

Cheers!

Enjoyable quick read with drama, suspense, romance

Fun to listen to. Clearly read by the voice artist. Good voices. Easy to follow. Quick read. Drama, suspense, with some shameless philosophy sprinkled in, though not laid on as thick as Ayn Rand, but similar in style.

Good enough story, too much political diatribe

The oral performance was sub par, many voices sounded the same, lack of emphasis and emotion during scenes of high tension. the story itself was good, but there were way too many rabbit holes where the narrator goes down ultra-libertarian gushes that felt out of place. Let the story do the talking.

An educational fix

In a world where people don't realize how corrupt the US government is it's hard to find someone that can describe what's wrong with our bureaucracies In an entertaining manner

Decent read, but a little cheesy.

Decent read, but a little cheesy. Goes to show how pathetic the government is. Would recommend.

Great story and so realistic

Good narration. Great plot. Can't wait to listen to the next books.
Heard about the book in a gold/silver podcast. The author really knows what he is talking about.

My new #1 favourite series!!

What an amazing series! The authors have created a very strong and admirable character, like Howard Rourke from The Fountainhead, then placed him in the middle of a James Bond-like thriller in Africa. This would be a great book for young people to start learning about business, economics, philosophy, relationships, and just a solid broad perspective of the world in general. I cannot wait for the next 4 books to be released now.

A Great Story!

I was definitely hooked on this story. Just like a book you can't put down I could not stop listening. A great story! The lessons that are taught are so valuable and can be implemented within your own life. The perfect combination of a fictional novel, a stock market book, and a life coach book. If you like investing, in finance as well as in yourself. Look no further.
The gentleman who read the book also did a fantastic job, switching between masculine and feminine tones as well as various accents, creating a vast soundscape of congruent characters. I can't wait to listen to the next book. Enjoy!
