Publisher's summary

From New York Times best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow....

Mining ash on a remote planet where temperatures reach hellish degrees doesn't leave Kal (aka Spark) much room for dating. Lucky for this hard-working man, a new corporation, Galaxy Alien Mail-Order Brides, is ready to help him find the girl of his dreams. Does it really matter that he lied on his application and really isn’t looking for long-term but rather some fast action?

Earth women better watch out. Things are about to heat up.

Was surprised

I didn’t know what I would think about a futuristic novella… Well I loved it. It made me laugh and more than one occasion. Great insight on how things would be for someone who has never seen idiotic humans besides on TV😂

I am now sucked into needing more.

Steamy scenes but still a solid story. Don’t make negative comments if you don’t like steaming signs just remember I gave you a warning.

Fantastic aliens

This is the most creative alien tale I’ve ever heard and the narrator really knows how to bring the story to life

I Liked It

I purchased the ebook some time ago and enjoyed it so i decided to listen to the audio version, I'm glad I did as it lifted an enjoyable story to a higher level.
Kal and his cousins Vin and Sev are from a mining planet where females are rare and the chances of having a family are poor. So Kal signed his cousins and himself up with Galaxy Brides Corporation, never expecting it to be of any use but a least free vacation was worth having. His cousins weren’t too pleased when they learned what he had done but there was no going back. They decide they need earth names so Kal becomes Spark, Vin becomes Flame and Sev becomes Blaze, why I'll never know their original names were better!

They spent the time the trip took trying to learn about the earth females and their mating customs but what they learned was a few hundred years out of date!!

Carrie Peterson went to Vegas for her cousin's wedding but hates everything about it so she is always sneaking off, she hears Spark trying to pick up women using awful lines so when When Kal approaches her, she tells him he is never going to have success with women with his lines and proceeds to fill him in on what he is doing wrong. Later Spark spends two days looking for her and when they meet again, he convinces her to spend some time with him. She's definitely interested, that is until he tells her he is an alien. As you can imagine she thinks he is crazy but is then kidnapped and held for ransom.

The narration by Kylie Stewart is very well done and added to my enjoyment of the story.

Interesting listen

This was definitely a unique perspective into dating 😂
Sick of their job on a remote planet, Kal aka Spark (because it will cause lust in the ladies obviously) is roped into taking a trip to a much more diverse planet with a new corporation called Galaxy Alien Mail Order Brides. It doesn’t matter that he isn’t looking for long term and his friends lied on his application to get him there in the first place. They touch down in Las Vegas where Carrie is stuck playing the doting cousin at a wedding. While dodging her unlucky date Carrie overhears Kal describing a lovely bondage type scene to another woman as a way to win her to his bed. She’s baffled that this hot guy would not only think it’s ok to talk to a woman in that manner but that he actually thinks that’s a way to win her over. She hasn’t got a clue just how different Kal is from regular guys until days later he has tracked her down. A quick and light read/listen.

Fun little read

Cal is just a man in need of a vacation so he signs up him and his friends on the maiden voyage of a mail order bride space ship headed to earth. Armed with research from porn and Vegas shows they think they are ready to meet some girl. The misconception of their research and what woman actually want create a cute and funny story. Add in some drama from a wedding party, some gambling debts and other aliens and it makes for a quick entertaining cozy alien romance love story. Super impressed with the narrator. There were a lot of voices in this story and each had its own sound and was done very smoothly.

Humor, Bridezilla, and Danger!

I absolutely adore this author's stories in her Qurilixen World books. All are imbued with so much humor. This one had so many funny moments but also had a bit of drama here and there. While I won't know for sure until I listen to the next two books in the series, I believe the author planted seeds of what could become trouble for these three humanoid aliens from a scorching planet. The funniest thing in the book is what Spark believes is the “human mating dance” from what he's seen of the electronic transmissions from Earth that have gone out into the galaxy. It literally did have me laughing out loud. I love the chapters from his perspective, as it's amusing to watch him and his two other family members try to figure out Earth culture, how to get by here, and find willing females. The book is definitely spicy, and a few things might make your jaw drop, especially the first time the heroine meets the hero. This audiobook is a lot of fun, and the narrator did an excellent job. I loved how she voiced the other females of the bridal party the heroine was a part of. She certainly made the bridezilla sound like a bridezilla, and her snarky friends had full-on snark. I'm looking forward to listening to the next story about these three bumbling humanoid male relatives as they make their mistakes as they try to find a little romance.

Cute Story…

I enjoyed listening to this tale of three aliens who come to earth (and who would have thought it would be Vegas of all places…) for a “vacation” under the pretext to find “brides” (aka a “good” time). The indoctrination (porn movies) that these aliens receive about earth, its habits and its women are totally hilarious—as it results in some interesting scenarios. The story also includes a bit of danger, adventure and of course fated love. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Good book

Kal was kind of nieve of earth ways, the only thing he knew was what he caught on airwaves he was able to pick up on his home planet. When galaxy bride offered a trip to earth to find a mare, he jumps on it and brings his cousins with him. There he meets his future mate but she soon kidnapped and in danger. Kal does everything in his power to find her and rescue her.
I loved listening to this book. The narrator voice was smooth and the story was entertaining. There was times I was chuckled at some of the shenanigans that Kal and his cousins got into.

Paranormal romance

Short, sweet, and quirky alien romance story that had me shaking my head one moment and smiling at the next. Spark and Carrie make a good and entertaining couple. The narrator did a great job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. I sped the narration up to 1.5, to mimic general conversation speech pace. I received a free copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
