Great tool

An easy way to ride around town learning Spanish and working on pronunciation. A great Audible feature is that you can slow it down to hear the words better. The stories are simple but as a beginner you are struggling to understand them anyway.

This audiobook is exactly what it says it is. It has short stories for beginner Spanish learners. I like the vocabulary reviews and summaries of the stories. I think it will be better to review the vocabularies first, before reading the stories, though. The stories and vocabularies are varied. The stories are fun and relevant. I enjoyed the narration and the audiobook format is very helpful, because I have problems with Spanish pronunciations. By listening to this audiobook, I feel confident to follow the pronunciations of the narrator. The accompanying PDF document is crucial for me to make this audiobook useful.

Doesn’t seem to match the paperback book

Easy to follow and well narrated, the trouble I have with it is that the audiobook doesn’t seem to match the paperback book.

Found this short story book easy to follow while I’m driving for work! Really good way to get my feet wet in the language as I embark on a long journey.

Good for beginners who are becoming intermediate

I enjoyed listening to the stories and was able to follow along well. I did have to slow down the reading speed so I could catch every word and process what the story was about. There is an English summary at the end of each story, which helped to check how well I understood the story! I am a true beginner, and started with Duolingo. This is good companion for those who want very basic stories to help practice listening to Spanish!
