This is an amazing little audiobook!

After completing about 95% of it I will say that it is good, actually very good, but definitely not superb as the fans (perhaps I should say fanatics) of this audio program would have you believe. One great thing about it is that is actually has a methodology.

Very Much Needed

Perfect place to start even if you have absolutely no experience in Spanish. It's slow and repetitive and each lesson builds upon itself. It uses verbs and vocabulary from previous lessons so just when you think you forgot something you're reminded

It's great to practice during my hour long drive to work, it would be even more helpful if I had the PDF so I can see some of the words i'm trying to pronounce.

Very helpful and reasonable.

This audio book is the first audio book program that really speaks to me. The most simple and brilliant aspect of the approach involves building scenarios. Nothing complex, but the setup of "imagine a friend is helping you move and she says...". "And then you say....". The words end up in a context based on a setup of my own imagination.

Quality content and narration

Every program I've found has me speaking to the microphone, spelling things, yada yada yada. This is nothing like that. It drills you in the most basic vocabulary and structure and given that it is all spoken I am beginning to be able to comprehend telenovelas.

I recently made the decision to step up my Spanish learning efforts by using only my ears. I am naturally a visual learner so this has been challenging for me but this program is one of the best if not THE best for learning a language by ear bar none. Native Spanish speaking actors as well as narrator; the exposure and teaching of not only Spanish vocabulary words but also beginner Spanish grammar; practical words and phrases that can be used in real life conversations

everyone should listen to this audiobook.

I learned more in two days with the first three chapters than with 4 months of another program. I like that the phrases are said by both a man and a woman with different accents.

Definitely recommend it.

You can easily replay lessons you think you don't quite get and for me every so often I go back a few lessons just to refresh even more. I bought a vocabulary and verb book to supplement and study words I would use myself everyday.
