Of all the things we know about the universe, what do we really know about the nature of space? For example, is there a beyond space? Can space exist in the absence of matter? Though it may seem like a dumb question - 'where' does space come from? This essay takes a look at what some scientists have to say on this issue; the work also contains many references on the topic of spacetime and relativity, which should be useful to physics students.

Irritating narrator

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would get a different narrator who could pronounce 'nucleus' correctly, along with some other scientific/mathematical words. The narration was slow and she sounded bored.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dark matter :)

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Harley Reese?

Not sure, but there has to be someone with experience narrating scientific literature.

Was Space worth the listening time?

Yes

Any additional comments?

It is obviously the opinion of the author, but interesting nonetheless. Not really a book for someone who has no understanding of the subject matter.
