Publisher's summary

Reed

I never wanted to be a cowboy - living in a small town was suffocating. The military was my out. I saw every place I ever wanted and everything that nightmares are made of...until I almost lost my life and ended up back home.

Hazel

Finding out that I was pregnant the night before I left for college changed everything. I left my small town and vowed to never return. When my grandfather died, I had no choice but to go back home. The plan was just two weeks. I thought it would be quick and easy...until he was standing at the back door asking questions.

Fantastic story & series

A heartfelt and heart-warming single mom romance that will keep you riveted from the beginning until the end. This story is full of angst, scorching hot chemistry, humor, love, and pain. I LOVED Hazel, Reed & Sophia. Southern Sunshine is hopeful, heartbreaking and uplifting. It has ALL the feels and more to make one HELL of a story. The best part of this book is that it is sweet but it does not hide the dark shadows of the past and it isn't going to pretend that everything is magically fixed. As for the entire Southern series, I highly recommend listening to this series (or reading, if audiobooks aren’t your thing.) Jack Calihan & Jo Raylan are fabulous narrators. They do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality.

Heartwarming Story

I absolutely loved this story by Natasha Madison. Jack Calihan and Jo Raylan did a fantastic job narrating this audiobook and bringing the story and characters to life. I especially loved how little Sofia was portrayed and my heart just melted every time she appeared in scenes. This will definitely be one I re-listen to again and again.

Reed

I really really this one. I did think the male voice could have been stronger. It felt a little whiny sometimes.

Voices

Loved the book but the voices where the female voice mocks her daughters voice. It makes you cringe. I wish that she just used her regular voice thru it all.

Great story…..

Great story…starts a bit slow. The only thing I really didn’t like was the female narrator. Close to nails on a chalk board. Super whiny.

Narrator is depressing in ALL her books

Narrators killed it for me

I liked the prelude of the story. I actually preordered the book. But the male narrator was not my favorite and the female narrator sound as if she was crying the whole time. I gave it to chapter 10. A waste of a credit.

Horrible male voice

A great story with a horrible male voice. The ghastly Mae voice is obnoxious and ear scratching.
