Best audible should buy about Sous Vide

When I first started cooking sous-vide, I bought some other author's book and was woefully disappointed with the recipes contained within. I started looking to the internet for resources on how to cook sous-vide, and what I found was a lot of discussion about what temperatures to cook certain ingredients at, but not full recipes. Than I purchased my first audiobook of James Abraham's "Sous Vide-50 Modern Sous Vide Classic Recipes " and fully get the basic idea and now this one gave me the entire topic overall idea how should I need to go through. I really appreciate that Bahl takes the time to include instructions on a do-ahead strategy for most of the recipes in the book, so that one can sous-vide what is necessary ahead of time and then finish the dish afterwards. I think it's probably the first time where I've looked at a cookbook and felt like I wanted to cook every recipe in the book, and felt like I actually could, because the instructions are so clear, and it doesn't require a lot of fancy (or expensive) ingredients or equipment. Sous vide -- delicious!

We were totally new to sous vide and decided to get some expert advice and suggestions. This audiobook covered both of those items and we have thoroughly enjoyed this style of cooking as a result!

More than just protein parts

One of the wonderful things about this book is that he takes the time to include recipes from all parts of a meal -- not just appetizers, or entrees and dessert, but he even has a recipes for cocktails and sauces that you can prepare sous-vide also cook a tri-tip steak to T-bone perfection, or prepare an unbeatable alcoholic cider for any kind of party.

Outstanding

Wow, I LOVE this cookbook! The instructions are clear and straightforward, with lots of helpful techniques, resources, etc. but what I really love about this cookbook are the 50 recipes! We’ve marked almost every single recipe to try, and the 9+ recipes we’ve made have been outstanding.

They need to make another

I really appreciate the stories to each section of the book, the approachable language of the author and the specific invitations to experience new people and cultures through recipes. I seriously can't recommend this book enough for a clear and concise intro to the many and varied possibilities of sous vide, and as a work of art for any sitting room focal point. There are details for every recipes

Beautiful cookbook. Beautiful narration. The recipes are great, and really well explained. There are details for every recipes. Love this cookbook. I am buying two copies - one for myself and one as a gift for someone who has a sous vide cooker.

As a I novice I relied on this book

If you got brave like me and decided to buy a sous vide without any cooking experience - this audiobook will hand hold you through the whole thing! I’ve made amazing mashed potatoes and excellent eggs. As a I novice I relied on this book- and it never failed to help! I would recommend t to anyone who wants to have the quick breakfast recipes to start any day!

Sous Vide Must.

Fantastic cookbook, Purchased this along with my sous vide and could not happier, Food is extremely approachable and the book is well layout. The author does a great job explaining not only the how, but the but the why in simple terms. Could not be happier with the purchase and would absolutely recommend it to everyone.

This one is a keeper.

This is an excellent cook book with meals worthy of a five star restaurant. This is a must have book. James Abraham did an excellent job with detailed information, beautifully organized, and some of the best meals you may ever cook, or for that matter, the best meals you have ever eaten. I highly recommend you add this to your collection even if you’re not the best cook. Once you see the many meals, you'll be at a new level. I know this is taking me up to a better level of cooking.

Great intro to Sous vide cooking

I told about this audiobook to my family who is passionate about cooking this book and immediately my sister, brother and his fiance all plan on buying it. Good book on Sous Vide cooking. Not many good ones out there

This book is huge & amazing!

It seems so easy to do, with a bunch of equipment. I think this would be great to teach kids how to cook and also for college students who want to cook a tasty meal with only a bowl of water and the special water heating attachment this book recommends. No mess, no flames, no risk of burning the food. And food can slow cook while you're at work or out for the day. Great idea! Love the cookbook's thoroughness, too, and easy instructions. Looking forward to experimenting.

Take your cooking to the next level!

The recipes all have serving size, cooking time and active preparation which seems to be accurate enough for planning. This detail is wonderful for the working and active person that doesn't have a lot of spare time.

I really want to try it

I never thought I'd cook with sous vide, but after listening this cookbook I really want to try it. The recipes seem to be very easy to follow yet tasty and international in flavors and spices. I use the cookbook to make various meals using my Sous Vide. I think several family members will be using

This by far is not a simple Cookbook with quick meal preparation. This has very detailed instructions that comprise a length of 8 hours and 44 minutes. But Don't let the stop you from buying this book.

Enjoy in the future

We’re just getting started with sous vide cooking, and not only was this book the perfect introduction to the technique, it also promises to be a source of a many varied and inventive recipes to try and enjoy in the future. I’ve no hesitation

It’s one of my favorite cookbooks & I’ve no hesitation to announce that. Through this book I’ve learned tons of well tested recipes. The well-structured recipe index of this book really impressed me and that was really so much helpful. Not only from this guide you will learn variety of souse recipes but also get a better understanding on how to use your sous vide device & get the most out from it. I’ve tried dozens of recipes already and all outcomes were so excellent.

comparable to any other SousVide book

This is a well narrated cook audiobook that's not comparable to any other Sous Vide book I reviewed. Where the others are perfect for the beginner cook, this is a bit more complicated, but the recipes are so much better and elaborate. Although it's more complicated, really, anything that takes more time always turns out better.
